Delaney has been practicing counselling for 3 years with a diverse range of clients ranging from children, students, adults and couples. Delaney has experience working with people through trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and life transitions. Having been born in Australia to immigrant parents and serving in children, youth and university ministries, Delaney understands the benefits and challenges of cultural diversity experienced by the next generation.
Delaney adopts an integrative approach in his practice grounded in Interpersonal Therapy, where he works alongside clients in a safe, understanding & respectful space to help them grow in self-awareness and improve overall functioning. He also draws upon cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative and Solution-Focused interventions to equip clients with necessary tools towards personal restoration.
Delaney is a professional member of ACA (Australian Counselling Association) as well as a provisional member of PACFA (Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia).
