Brenda holds a Master of Counselling with Morling College and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) with Australian Institute of Family Counselling. She is a Provisional Member of CCAA and PACFA.
Brenda has extensive experience working with adults, young persons, and families in different settings. Her lived experience in supporting people with physical disabilities and mental health issues has also contributed to her empathetic understanding and belief that all individuals are unique and have their own specific gifts that can be nurtured and grow.
She adopts an integrative, holistic, and relational approach to counselling and psychotherapy. Her passion is to support and empower people from diverse backgrounds who are facing their unique life difficulties. She has a special interest in working with multiracial families. Her aim is to collaborate with her clients in helping them to be all they can be.
Brenda can speak fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
