Iris is a bilingual (Cantonese and English) individual and relationship counsellor working with individuals, couples, children, young people and families with multi-cultural background. Face to face, phone and video consultations are available.
Iris is particularly interested in working with relationship and family issues, pre-marital counselling, affairs, separation, divorce, post-separation issues, trauma recovery, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, mental health issues, anger management, stress management, self-esteem, assertiveness, burnout, childhood issues, addiction, self-harm, suicidality, sexual abuse, life transition, cultural or spiritual issues, migrant issues, women’s issues, workplace issues, and parenting.
Iris uses a wide range of modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Couple Therapy, Family Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Person-centred Therapy, Systems Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Trauma Informed, Somatic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and Gestalt Therapy. Additionally,
Iris is a trained facilitator in the Prepare-Enrich, Seasons for Growth and Turning into Teens programs.
Iris is currently registered in Level 4 membership with Australian Counselling Association (ACA No: 11664) and in the ACA College of Supervisors as a Clinical Supervisor (No: COS11664).
